Separation of Graphite from Lithium Metal Oxides in Spent Lithium Ion Batteries Using Flotation Technology

thesis
posted on 2023-08-02, 06:55 authored by LUIS ALBERTO VERDUGO
This doctoral study investigated the use of froth flotation for the direct recycling of spent lithium ion batteries, enabling the recovery and separation of both anode and cathode materials. Promising results were obtained and confirms that froth flotation is a feasible technology that can be used successfully for the direct recycling of spent battery devices.
