This thesis addresses the topic of sexual violence by combining a creative artefact (a novel) and a critical component. This critical component surveys relevant scholarly debates and undertakes an analysis of some of the themes and creative choices at the core of my novel, Moonlight in Koornang Road. Constructed around questions pertaining to date-rape scenarios, MKR is the result of three years of cross-disciplinary research on the topic of sexual violence.
