thesis
posted on 2022-09-08, 02:06 authored by NAZZAL THEYAB A ALENEZI
This study explores the influence of Saudi Vision 2030 on ICT policy and practice in the Saudi higher education sector. It utilised integrated theoretical frameworks of ICT use with explanatory sequential mixed-methods design in which middle-level administrators (MLA) and faculty members (FM) of four faculties at three Saudi universities (n = 176) participated. The findings indicated that Saudi universities responded to Saudi Vision 2030 by developing and implementing ICT policies and programs. Seven challenges and three main facilitating factors were identified upon which recommendations were made to improve the process of ICT policy and practices in Saudi Universities.
