Robust coding of eye position in visual cortex

thesis
posted on 2021-09-20, 05:52 authored by JAMES ROBERT MCFADYEN
This thesis examines the coding of eye position by neurons in visual areas of the brain. Although coding of eye position is complicated by simultaneous coding of other sensory and behavioural information, it finds that eye position information can still be interpreted by other areas of the brain, and is able to support visual behaviour.
