Respiratory Mechanics Modelling of Spontaneous Breathing Respiratory Failure Patients and Healthy Subjects

Mechanical Ventilation is used to support the breathing of the respiratory failure patients in intensive care unit. This thesis presents some mathematical model-based methods that are useful to guide mechanical ventilation therapy of the respiratory failure patients to provide better mechanical ventilation care.
