This project aims to demonstrate the stylistic differences of selected composers from the La Generazione dell’Ottanta and to compare their stylistic approaches in terms of performance outcomes. Two new performance frameworks were developed that fill a gap in Italian performance style of the early twentieth century. This project also provides the first recorded documentation of five instrumental works of lesser known Italian composers from the La Generazione dell’Ottanta.
