Reaction discovery in phoshine organocatalysis via the β-phosphonium ylide

This thesis contains investigations of the discovery of new chemical reactions using catalysts containing phosphorus. The discovered reactions are able to produce previously undiscovered chemicals which might potentially be used in the manufacture of new materials, pharmaceuticals and chemicals for agriculture.
