Scale up of chemical processes bring with it huge challenges like poor safety, large time consumption, high energy requirements, low efficiency and poor sustainability. One such area of concern is the process intensification (PI) or scale up of heterogeneous catalytic materials, whose applications are indispensable in the field of chemical synthesis. This thesis aims at addressing the PI of heterogeneous catalytic materials and their applications thereof in industrially important reactions through Continuous Flow Chemistry, a contemporary but effective way to achieve safety, sustainability, and efficiency in chemical processes.
