Predictors, Prognostic Factors and Management of Patients with Subclinical Left Ventricular Dysfunction

The thesis examines predictive and prognostic factors in patients with evidence of left ventricular contractile dysfunction in the setting of preserved left ventricular ejection fraction. It identifies a new group of patients with subclinical left ventricular dysfunction who may benefit from opportunistic screening and assessment using new echocardiographic techniques and software.
