This study is primarily meant to develop a methodology to detect early-stage Parkinsonism when the symptoms may not be consistent or visible. The current clinical diagnosis methods identify Parkinsonism only when symptoms are advanced/visible and by this point majority of the neurons are degenerated. Early diagnosis would help clinicians to start the correct treatment procedure right from the beginning thereby reducing the severity of symptoms in later stages. Thus, the patients will have a better quality of life with reduced treatment costs.
