π-Rich polycyclic aromatic compounds play important roles in different fields such as materials science and biomedical applications because of their electronic and light-related properties. These compounds can be used in devices like organic light-emitting diodes, transistors, solar cells, and for medical imaging. This thesis presents work investigating new methodologies for the access of these compounds efficiently.
