Commercial buildings consume a high amount of electricity. Most of this electricity comes from fossil fuel-based power plants. That elevates the problem of carbon emissions and excessive operational costs. Therefore, a sustainable solution is to implement solar energy on the rooftop of commercial buildings. Our aim was to perform a techno-economic and performance analysis of the solar PV system for commercial buildings in Malaysia.
