This thesis assesses current osteoporosis prevalence and management, gaps in care and preferences for care delivery, from the perspectives of consumers and clinicians. Focus is made on regional and rural areas of Australia, and on both general osteoporosis, and women with early menopause, as an example of specialised osteoporosis.
