Optical Imaging of Materials Below the Diffraction Limit

Over the past few decades people have pursued using classical optical microscope to observe the world of nanoscience. Therefore, super resolution microscopy comes into being to allow imaging nano-scale systems under classical microscope in various ways, across the fields of chemistry, biology and physics. The work outlined in this thesis provides different tools for the sub-diffraction imaging of nano-scale objects, and the understanding of energy transfer can be expanded fundamentally, benefitting the fabrication of optoelectronics devices.
