thesis
posted on 2020-08-04, 08:46 authored by VINESHA SELVARAJAHThe advancement of technology has changed the practice of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) especially in the transition towards online EBM. Knowledge and gaps exist in the practice of online EBM specifically during the online EBM searching process. This is because searching for information during the practice of EBM by EBM practitioners differs from non-medical information based searching. This research study examines the online searching behavior of EBM practitioners during the practice of EBM. This includes the investigation on the methods used by EBM practitioners in evaluating the validity of information, and the challenges faced during the practice of online EBM.
