Obesity, gestational weight gain and healthy lifestyle in pregnancy

This thesis explores the effects of excess gestational weight gain and adverse maternal and infant health outcomes in pregnant women with obesity. It describes the development, implementation and evaluation of a lifestyle intervention embedded in routine maternity care, to achieve healthy lifestyle and recommended weight gain.
