Novel treatments for radioactive iodine-refractory differentiated and anaplastic thyroid cancer

thesis
posted on 2025-07-15, 14:01 authored by Shananthan Balachandran
The current treatment options for advanced thyroid cancers are unfortunately insufficient and inadequate. This thesis discovered a new strategy that targets a group of proteins that otherwise contribute to cancer survival. It identified several new treatments and it is hoped that this will direct future research and ultimately improve the outcomes and experiences of people with advanced thyroid cancers.
