Novel N-Heterocyclic Carbene Catalysed (4+2) Annulations for the Synthesis of Natural Products

The discovery of new chemical materials such as medicines, relies heavily upon access to sophisticated chemical reactions. This thesis details the use of catalysts to develop efficient chemical reactions that are used in the exploration of new cannabis related medicines.
