The holy grail of modern physics is to create a unified theory of everything, which evidently requires the discovery of entirely new physical phenomena. The B anomalies are the best evidence we currently have for such new phenomena. But unfortunately, particle physics is hard and we cannot yet say much for sure. My research takes a deep dive into the B anomalies, analysing new experimental data with novel methods to answer the question --- are the B anomalies really a sign of new physics? The new results suggest that this interpretation of the B anomalies remains on solid footing!
