Neurobiology of working memory across the adult lifespan

There are multiple competing hypotheses and models put forth to understand these declines. This thesis focuses on neural synchrony and uses novel experimental (i.e., TMS-EEG) and analytic (i.e., measuring aperiodic activity) methods to provide a greater understanding of the neural underpinnings of visual working memory across the adult lifespan.
