With the arrival of the digital age, online learning has become a key approach for employee development in the workplace. This thesis contributes to the ongoing discussions on online learning through three empirical studies. The first study investigates how organizational practices promote continued online learning behaviors. The second and third studies address the debate on online learning outcomes by exploring the effects of continued online learning on workplace well-being and the impact of learning technology overload on job performance. These studies offer significant insights into online learning dynamics, enhancing our understanding of its benefits and challenges in the digital context.
