thesis

Brain diseases represent complex diseases due to lack of therapy which could be attributed to not fully know mechanisms and the presence of a barrier between blood and the brain that restricts the entry of therapeutic moieties. This thesis focuses on the development of brain-targeted particles which have the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. It also highlights the development of physiologically relevant brain models and their use to study the behavior of these particles.
