Multidimensional Poverty in Indonesia: An Empirical Application

The main objective of this study is to demonstrate the application of multidimensional poverty approach to policy-making from the construction of the poverty measure, analysis and monitoring of poverty, to program targeting and impact evaluation. This study applies Alkire-Foster methodology to measure multidimensional poverty among rural-urban migrants in Indonesia, utilising an annual longitudinal survey from the Study of Rural-Urban Migration in Indonesia.
