Identification and characterisation of what genes are required for developing specific muscle cells in 3D axes. I identify a novel gene pathway involved in this process, which is required for activating formation of the muscle cell of interest. I also uncover the adult fates and functions of these muscle cells. These gene pathways operate on one small DNA region, which I then investigate individual DNA binding sites and its functional evolution.
