Fluid flow in thin gaps occurs in many natural and industrial applications. Fluids in these flows often have complex flow behaviour. Some everyday examples include paint and toothpaste. This thesis develops and analyses models for fluid flow in thin gaps where the fluids have complex flow behaviour. This behaviour results in new flow features.
