Microfabrication and Design Techniques for Back-Contact Perovskite Solar Cells

thesis
posted on 2023-08-22, 05:52 authored by SIQI DENG
This thesis focuses on back-contact perovskite solar cells (BC-PSCs), which eliminate the energy losses inherent in conventional perovskite solar cells by placing the photoabsorber at the top. Three studies are presented: the first uses cost-effective and scalable microsphere lithography to improve device performance; the second investigates the impact of changing the area ratio between opposite charge transport layers; and the third explores the use of displacement Talbot lithography for PSC and BC-PSC fabrication. These studies provide insights for optimising device performance and offer a novel approach to large-scale microfabrication.
