In order for healthcare quality to be improved, it has to be measured accurately for healthcare professionals to use for professional development. This doctorate seeks to use novel machine learning methods to risk adjust outcome quality measures to ensure that healthcare professionals are delivered accurate feedback for quality improvement purposes.
