thesis
posted on 2019-10-31, 03:02 authored by JOANNE MAREE GLEESON
The key aim of this study was to create a valid instrument to measure the career identity development of adolescents. Addressing four key research questions and via testing with a significant sized (N = 2400+) and diverse population (i.e., ethnicity, SES, school location) of Australian adolescents aged 15 – 19 years from five Victorian schools, the study has resulted in a validated four-component, 27-item, multidimensional instrument that shows evidence of reliability, unidimensionality across its four components and construct and content validity. Convergent, divergent and concurrent validities have also been established.
