This thesis discusses what it means to be a masculine-identified lesbian in the context of heteronormative Singapore, especially since their identities come with a form of visibility that feminine-identified lesbians’ do not. It does this through delineating their embodied identities, their sexualities and desires, the relationship roles they undertake as well as the experiences unique to them.
