Low-temperature solution processed bismuth-based thin film solar cells

Solar energy being a clean, dependable and abundant energy source could solve the up-coming global energy crisis. The present thesis focused on the design and development of cheap, non-toxic and easily processible solar cells that are highly stable and commercially viable. Novel non-toxic and durable alternatives for current solar cell materials have been developed and implemented.
