Through a systematic review and several original studies, this thesis provides a scientific framework for understanding the long-term health risks associated with wildfire smoke PM2.5 exposure. These findings offer valuable guidance for public health by highlighting the need for preventive measures and targeted interventions to mitigate wildfire smoke exposure, especially in vulnerable regions and populations.
