Local Management and Systemic Detection of Bladder Cancer to Reduce Post-Treatment Recurrence

This thesis has two main components. The first looks into using water irrigation to mechanically rinse out any cancer cells left behind after bladder cancer surgery, to minimise the risk of cancer recurrence. The second looks at developing a method to detect bladder cancer on a blood or urine test.
