Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) piloting is challenging for novices due to difficulties associated with the control interface and perceiving the relative depth of the UAV. This thesis aims to develop assistance and communication strategies for UAV shared autonomy systems such that novice pilots can achieve performance greater than that of experienced pilots in multi-task missions.
