Lawyer Use in Compensation Systems

thesis
posted on 2021-04-06, 07:59 authored by CLARE ELIZABETH SCOLLAY
This thesis examines claimant legal service use in injury compensation schemes. It highlights the important role that lawyers play in enabling claimants to access their entitlements and participate in compensation processes. It also identifies opportunities for compensation schemes, lawyers, and legal profession regulators to better tailor their services to claimant needs and, in doing so, improve claimant experiences and outcomes in compensation settings.
