Investigating the role of SNAIL family of proteins in colorectal cancer

This thesis focuses on examining the contributory role of key molecules towards colorectal cancer development. It identifies a potential functional relationship between these molecules and cancer stem cells in colorectal tumours. This thesis contributes to on-going research towards identification of biomarkers to assist in prognosis and treatment of colorectal cancers.
