Investigating Inflammatory Pathways Contributing to Chronic Respiratory Diseases

This thesis examines the immune cell signalling pathways that contribute to the major respiratory diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. Utilising mouse models of disease, signalling molecules and cells that promote lung inflammation were identified, providing new insights into the immunology of these lung diseases.
