Solar-driven distillation is one of the most promising technologies to address the global problem of water scarcity, but is currently limited by salt accumulation and crystallization. This thesis proposes and tests three innovative system designs aiming to overcome the salt fouling problem. The studies provide new insights into the design of solar distillation systems and advance their applications in sustainable seawater desalination and wastewater management.
