Intensification of lactose crystal recovery from acid whey

The thesis focused on the intensification process for lactose recovering from acid whey. The long crystallization time required in the current crystallization process led to the importance of my research project to translate the current system to the continuous ith a higher throughput production. As a result, a fundamental study was conducted to understand the role of impurities in affecting the yield and the quality of the products in the current implemented process and the proposed system.
