thesis
posted on 2023-11-03, 01:25 authored by NIMALI LAKMINI MUNASINGHE
Disasters are increasing globally. Hospital preparedness is essential to ensure a robust response to disasters and save lives. Lack of standardized tools to assess hospital preparedness hinders the improvement of emergency and disaster preparedness. This thesis develops a comprehensive and a valid tool to evaluate Sri Lankan hospitals’ preparedness. This tool also helps in assessing, comparing and improving the disaster preparedness of hospitals in other countries beyond Sri Lanka.
