Improved rainfall measurement using microwave links

This thesis contributes to the global body of knowledge using commercial microwave links for rainfall retrieval and underpins the development of a more accurate operational rainfall measurement capability. This study develops a better understanding of the uncertainties associated with this measurement technique. It also proposes a methodology using a deep learning model to improve the rainfall estimates.
