Pharmaceutical pollutants are found ubiquitously in the environment around the world, but their impacts on wildlife such as fish, are not well-understood. This thesis examines the adverse effects of common pharmaceutical pollutants on animal behaviour in vulnerable freshwater fish. It reveals previously unknown behavioural effects of these drugs on wildlife at extremely low environmental concentrations.
