Identification of an upstream transcription complex regulating miR-9 expression during neurogenesis

thesis

This thesis examines the transcriptional regulation of miR-9 during neurogenesis. Three proteins- Panx2, Polr1c and Mgea5 of the miRSome complex acts upstream in the miR-9 genomic locus to modulate its expression. It also explores the synergistic effect of miRSome on the neurogenesis via miR-9 pathway.
