This study investigates the impacts of two main drivers that are vegetation cover and climate, on the flow and solute transport of ephemeral catchments. The study case, which is a small catchment in southwestern Australia, was used to demonstrate the calibration and validation of flow and solute transport of MIKE SHE model in this application. The validated model was used to evaluate plantation restoration scenarios and climate change impacts in the future.
