thesis
posted on 2025-07-03, 02:10 authored by Maja Birgitta Pernilla Brydevall
This thesis examined the habit theory of addiction; i.e. the theory that habitual decision-making underpins and drives addictive behaviours and substance use. The findings of this thesis provide new insights regarding how the role of habit may differ depending on addiction type, as well as the impact of contextual factors such as psychological distress.
