Throughout the thesis, a consistent theme emerges: the direct and positive impact of green space on child health. Beyond direct influence, green space serves as a modifier and mitigator of adverse effects related to environmental factors like nighttime light, air pollution, road density, and extreme heat. With this evidence in hand, parents, caregivers, communities, and governments can act to create greener spaces or improve existing green spaces, prioritizing places where children live and receive education.
