GOLD-CATALYZED 1,N-DIYNE ESTER CYCLOISOMERIZATION STRATEGIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CARBOCYCLES AND N-HETEROCYCLES

thesis
posted on 2018-10-05, 01:00 authored by XIAOYU CHEN
Establishing synthetic methods to carbocyclic and N-heterocyclic compounds is an active area in organic chemistry due to their prevalence in natural products, bioactive compounds and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). This thesis has focused on the development of novel methodologies that rely on gold(I)-catalyzed 1,n-diyne ester cycloisomerization strategies to construct carbocyclic and N-heterocyclic compounds.
