This thesis is aimed at assessing the different recharge processes operating across the Latrobe Valley area located in the state of Victoria, Australia, by applying various approaches. Three recharge regions are studied on the stream systems, the upland, and the lowland catchments of the Latrobe Valley. Each study requires different investigation techniques through a combination of field, laboratory, and modelling experiments. The research outputs improve understanding of recharge magnitudes across the Latrobe Valley, providing significant contributions to future hydrogeological modeling of the Latrobe region.
