Informed by two years of dedicated research in the field of trans/feminist, gender, and queer art theory "Fail like you mean it! – how to escape the spectacle of “queer” in visual art, theory and writing" is the practice lead exegesis outcome of a two-year MFA (research) by Jordana Bragg. This research examines exactly how and when failure becomes usefully queer - in order to consider alternatives to the pressures of productivity, forward momentum, “truth-telling”, and assumed autobiography as part of the Transgender/Queer oeuvre.
