Fabrication of Efficient and Robust Electrodes for Electrochemical Water Splitting

thesis
posted on 2023-11-07, 11:07 authored by ELEANORA CHARNETSKAYA
When catastrophic natural events, triggered by climate change, pushed humanity to speed up the transition of the global economy from fossil fuels to clean energy, it became obvious that electrolytically generated hydrogen is the main component of the green economy of the future. Following the latest trends in the development of water splitting electrocatalysis, the present research project aimed to develop and investigate chalcogenide and phosphide-based materials for the hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions under alkaline conditions.
