thesis
posted on 2024-09-11, 04:04 authored by DREW WILLIAM GLADSTONE SMITH
This thesis explored FDG–PET and MRI in the radiation therapy planning, treatment and response assessment for the relatively rare anal cancer (AC). It has demonstrated the potential and methods of FDG–PET and MRI in targeting and monitoring primary AC throughout a patient’s treatment journey. The methods and data developed as part of this thesis will underpin future research development for this rare cancer in this rapidly evolving era of imaging in radiation therapy.
